Andrew HoodAndrew is a full-time painter based in Bristol. He originally started out as a Graphic Designer until studying for a degree in illustration at John Moores university. Whilst a student he won the Liverpool life painting open and Gorstella award for fine art. His inspiration often comes from the places he visits with a recent trip to Morocco providing the subject matter for a series of paintings exhibited in Belgium and Ireland His paintings have been featured in the WH Smiths British Artists greetings cards range and with Prime Arts Publishing. He has also received several corporate commissions including the BBC (casualty) hollyoaks and wetherspoons plc. Most recently Andrews work has been selected for the RWA and South West Academy annual exhibitions.
