Introduction by Billy Childish

I paint still lives, or what I call 'kitchen paintings', so that people who don't aspire to high art, or complicated notions of taste and fashion, can have a painting in their home which enhances their environment, and can be enjoyed without struggle whilst having a nice cup of tea. No international artists of repute (who wish to be taken seriously) offer this humble service - this is one reason why I do. Along with the fact that one of arts important purposes is to bring a little light into every corner.
